Hi everyone, I know I've been a bit delayed in posting about my new house. We are slowly managing to get the place in order so hopefully I'll have plenty to show you soon! Thankfully my make-up room has come together and I'm delighted to finally do a new home post.
I was fortunate enough to have a spare bedroom which I could take over as my own space and with that said my husband is equally as delighted not to have my make up station clutter the bedroom anymore!! Most of the furniture is from Ikea and extremely affordable so it was achievable to create my beauty room with out huge expense.
My mirror with lights has worked out exactly how I envisioned it thanks to my handyman dad who installed it. He recommended that we wire it to a plug with a switch instead of wiring it through the wall as we had initially intended.
I sold my previous dressing table on Donedeal and bought the Ikea Malm which has ample storage and fits perfectly with the aesthetic of my room. I plan to add pictures of
I used a bookcase as my shoe storage and truthfully I could do with another one! I definitely plan to buy more shelves for it the next time I am in Ikea. I used the Alex drawer unit as my makeup and beauty product storage which helps keep the room tidy. I apologise if this appears to be an advertisement for Ikea. I can assure you it isn't!! I just want to help give you some ideas for your beauty space.
