Hello everyone. Excuse my recent hiatus from the blog. I've had an extremely busy weekend which I'm finally recovering from slowly! A group of us travelled to Nice in the south of France to surprise one of my best friends for her birthday. The plans were a long time in the making and after weeks of waiting (and secret keeping) it was all worth to finally see her face when we surprised her singing Happy Birthday (badly!) in a restaurant.

We took the train to Monaco on Saturday and living up to our Irish reputation we immediately headed to a bar for a few refreshments before doing some sight-seeing. Monaco is so impressive and there is definitely something for everyone; with the girls opting for the Palace and the boys opting for the Casino. We topped off the day by heading back to Nice and heading to a nightclub along the beach front. All in all an amazing weekend spent well with amazing friends.
