Loads of Layers!

The temperature has most certainly dropped dramatically here in Dublin! One trick that I find essential to combat the cold is to use layering. This is something I became familiar with on a trip to Chicago during the winter months a couple of years ago. Anyone who has been there during the winter will know that our weather here is mild in comparison.The benefit of layering is that it keeps you insulated, keeping you warmer but it also allows you to strip off layers if the temperature rises throughout the day. One of my ultimate weapons for protection from the elements has to be the blanket scarf. I've taken a break from the plaid blanket scarves that I'm so fond of for this Burberry inspired colour block scarf. Truthfully its hard to remember the last time I left the house without it.
